From a small Celtic settlement on the banks of the River Irwell, to powerhouse of the industrial revolution, to the scientific and cultural capital of the United Kingdom, Manchester has done it all through hard work and industry. The Mancunian symbol of the worker bee represents Manchester's innovation and work ethic, and we have three new designs featuring stylised versions of that very bee. With multiple nods to United's kits and colours through the ages; the green and gold of Newton Heath LYR; the deep red V of the 1909 FA Cup Final (United's first cup final victory); the '78 centenary kit; the early '90s "acid house" kit - all are represented on both our red, white and black and multicolour versions of our bee design, whilst we also feature a whole swarm of workers on our multiple bees t-shirt. Keep it United. Up the f***ing Reds!
