Newton Heath 1892-93 Art Print
Manchester artist Hadrian Richards' depiction of the Newton Heath team in their first season in the football league. The Heathens struggled in their new environment, winning just six matches out of thirty (although amongst them was a 10-1 thrashing of Wolves that still remains the club's largest league win), but won a play-off match against Birmingham City to retain their place in the top division. Based on painting by artist Hadrian Richards.
