Newton Heath/Love United Hate Glazer Football Shirt
This exclusive football shirt has been designed in the "green and gold" colours of Newton Heath and the anti-Glazer protest movement. Designed in the half-and-half colours of Newton Heath's nineteenth-century kits, and later adopted by Umbro as United's third kit in the early 1990s, it features an embroidered badge bearing an intertwined N & H and the words "Newton Heath Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway" (the name by which the club later called "Manchester United" was originally known). The front of the shirt features the slogan "LUHG" (short for "Love United, Hate Glazer") across the front where a sponsor logo would usually be, whereas the back features the name "Netwon Heath" and the number 78 (the year of Newton Heath LYR's foundation). The classic, original "Love United, Hate Glazer" round logo also appears on the sleeve.
Our football shirt also features a contrast collar (perfect for wearing turned-up) and sleeves. All logos, aside from the embroidered badge, are sublimated meaning they will not crack, peel or fade over time.
This shirt has been produced by Sigur Sportswear exclusively for TShirtsUnited.
